Privacy policy
Short version: we only collect what you send us in the quote form, we use it to reply, and we don't track you.

Who we are
This website is run by codeshipped ("we", "us"). For anything about your data, email hello@codeshipped.com.
What we collect
When you use the quote form, we collect the details you type in: your name, email address, the type of work, budget and timeline choices, and your message. We also record the date and time, and keep your IP address briefly to stop spam and abuse.
We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies. The site remembers your light or dark theme choice in your own browser's storage; that never leaves your device.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote, because you asked us to (the steps you'd expect before a contract).
- To keep the form working and free of spam (our legitimate interest).
We don't sell your details or use them for marketing unless you separately ask us to.
Who sees it
Enquiries are stored on our own server. To make sure we see them quickly, a copy is delivered to our private Discord channel and to our email inbox, so those providers process it on our behalf. Nobody else gets your details.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months, then delete them unless we're working together, in which case they become part of the project record. IP addresses used for spam protection are kept for no more than 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email us and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update this page and the date at the top.
